Trinity Protection Services, Inc. is currently seeking Part-Time and Reserve security officers to work on Federal contract for Oakland/Sacramento/Northern California. Qualified candidates will possess the following minimum requirements:

 

1. Twenty-one (21) years of age
2. NO FELONY CRIMINAL CONVICTIONS
3. High School Diploma or Equivalent
4. Shall have three (3) years or more of Security Experience within the past 5 years (with steady 2 years).  Only exception with no security experience – 3 years Military or National Guard (active duty or reserve) or completion of Police Officer’s Standard Training (POST).
5. Proof of U.S. Citizenship:  California Drivers License or ID…Social Security Card…Certificate of Naturalization (Form N-550 or N-570)…U.S. Passport
6. Valid California Firearm & Guard Card, .38, .357, .40 caliber added
7. State Shoot Qualifications- target and score
8. BSIS Baton Permit & 8hour Expandable straight baton card from your instructor
9. High School Diploma, GED or highest education document – Military DD214
10. Resume – CPR/AED and First Aid Cards (Adult, Infant & Child)
    

In addition to meeting the basic qualifications, in order to apply, you must possess the following requirements listed in Sections 1-5 below. All applicants must pass an oral interview, written examination, Federal Firearms Range Qualification, Medical Examination, Drug Screen, and extensive background investigation. All applications submitted with proper documentation will remain on file for one year.

•   Resume
•   High School Diploma or GED
•   Valid California Drivers License
•   Social Security Card
•   INS Card (if applicable)/Citizenship Certificate
•   Valid, permanent BSIS California Guard Card
•   Valid, permanent BSIS California Gun Card (must be qualified to carry .38/.357)
•   Valid BSIS Baton Permit Valid, Adult & Infant/Child CPR/AED certification (within 1 year)
•   Valid First-Aid certification (within 3 years)

2. Current good driving record with no convictions for driving while intoxicated or under the influence of alcohol or drugs (DWI or DUI) - no more than three current points on driving record
3. Pass report writing test
4. Able to pass a CDS chemical screen by urinalysis test
5. The ability to write and speak English in a clear and concise manner. Capable of reading and understanding orders. If you meet all of the above requirements and are selected to attend training, you will be put through the Federal guard training course. The course is 104 hours with an additional 16 hours of FPS/DHS provided government training, required by The Department of Homeland Security
